Although decorating is his passion, Keven starts with the architecture of every project and works to get what he describes as the “bones of the house correct” before any furnishings arrive.As a trained architect, holding Professional Licensing in Rhode Island, Pennsylavia, New York, Massachusetts and North Carolina, Keven is able to offer his clients an added sense of scale and proportion. Keven’s approach is one of collaboration. He feels his best work is when his clients partner with him and spend time to put together the collection of pieces that make up their interiors. His work is not limited, however, to the interior. His expertise in garden design and horticulture has produced gardens and exterior spaces that seamlessly flow from the exterior of the house to the interior, selecting and designing both the building materials as well as the plantings. Although Keven’s approach is rooted in tradition his work includes all of the state of the art technologies available such as providing his clients with lighting design and design of home theaters as well as integrated control systems. |
Keven provides the highest quality custom furnishings and fabrics, going so far as to have fabrics custom printed. His work is about careful, timeless decorating and most of all comfort. Meticulous planning, placement, color, pattern and scale are all hallmarks of his work. With his knowledge of antiques and decorative arts he relies heavily on antiques from England and the Continent, including France, Italy and Portugal and Spain. He also has a certain affinity for decorative objects from Asia, particularly Chinese and Japanese antiques. His attention to detail and his full service approach to each client and each project are of utmost importance. Taking on only four to six projects each year Keven provides his clients with his personal focus and attention and works closely with them to realize their goals and dreams. |
