Keven Hawkins, Architect and Decorator CompanyKeven opened his own Architecture and Interior Design firm, Keven Hawkins Incorporated in Manhattan in 2001 after several years in the office of the legendary decorator the late Mark Hampton. Keven was recognized by House Beautiful, (September 2003) as one of "America’s Top Young Designers."
His work has ranged from 18th century country houses in upstate New York, to Manhattan apartments, houses on the coasts of both Maine and New Jersey, Palm Beach and Jupiter Island houses, Main Line Philadelphia estates, yachts, restaurants, spas, and even the interiors of private jets.
His decorating style is rooted in American tradition, something he became acquainted with while studying architecture, the history of art, and historic preservation at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Masters Degree.
